Mix for privacy
AI companies collect massive volumes of personal data. A single breach or legal demand could expose your most private thoughts and conversations.
Mix was built for confidentiality and privacy.
Mix anonymizes your prompts, randomly routes portions of your queries through leading frontier AI models, and returns deeper answers with anonymity and privacy controls.
Your personally identifying information is never seen by AI companies or third parties, and your conversations are wiped clean from our servers after each use.
AI knows too much about you
People now ask AI things they would hesitate to ask a close friend.
Business strategy, litigation, acquisitions, employment decisions, medical questions, negotiations, investments, relationships, intellectual property, and problems nobody else knows about.
Then those conversations sit inside an account for months, even years.
If a conversation exists, it can be exposed when an account is compromised. Retained information can become subject to lawful legal process (if you get sued, opposing lawyers could demand your chats). A company can change ownership, and retained personal data may transfer with the business under the applicable privacy terms. Policies can change too, putting you at risk.
Mix starts with a different idea: don’t create the permanent record in the first place.
Mix is built for questions that deserve exceptional intelligence without becoming part of a permanent AI chat history.
Mix forgets youMix is designed to forget you
No saved chats
Mix does not save the questions you ask. Once a reasoning session is complete, your conversation is not added to a saved chat history or long-term profile for future use.
No behavioral question profile
Ask your AI what it knows about you, and you might be surprised. Mix does not build a profile around your problems, interests, fears, and research.
No tracking cookies
Mix is designed without advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, session replay, or behavioral advertising technology.
No subscription
Buy credits when you need Mix. Come back when you need it again. There is no subscription or recurring payment with Mix.
No password
Your Mix account is simply an email address (anonymized is fine), a credit balance, and a one-time access code.
No unnecessary identity
Mix does not need your name, biography, employer, address, phone number, or personal profile.
Privacy architecture
How Mix works
This is one of the most important differences in Mix. Billing and reasoning are operated on physically separate infrastructure. A one-time authorization permits a reasoning run to consume credits without sending your billing identity into the reasoning environment. When the run is finished, the temporary reasoning session is destroyed. You can pay with a credit or debit card, or with crypto.
Path A
Billing
One-time run
authorization
“This run may spend up to X credits. Accept?”
One-time run authorization
Path B
Reasoning
Use an anonymized card or crypto to pay - your prompts are anonymized.
Mix protects your identity
Before a question is routed to external AI models, Mix evaluates personally identifying information. If identifying information is unnecessary to obtain the right answer, Mix substitutes it in your prompts and in any uploaded files.
Before
Jennifer Smith, CFO of Acme Robotics, is negotiating with John Doe at Example Ventures.
After
PERSON_2, CFO of COMPANY_4, is negotiating with PERSON_7 at COMPANY_9.
The reasoning remains intact. The unnecessary identity does not.
Mix does not blindly anonymize information. If your identity, company, location, medical condition, occupation, relationship, history, jurisdiction, or another identifying fact is important to the question and you intend to keep it as part of the query, Mix preserves the information necessary to reach the right answer.
Multiple frontier AIs for deeper answers
Most AI products give your question to one model and return its answer. One model can sound certain and still be wrong.
Mix does something fundamentally different.
Your anonymized prompts are distributed across multiple leading frontier AI models, which independently analyze the problem, challenge one another’s conclusions, identify disagreements, and correct weaknesses. By mixing multiple AI models, each answer is tested by more than one intelligence, which produces stronger, more reasoned answers than a single AI model alone.
The models do not simply vote or average their answers together. Instead, the process can continue through multiple rounds as they examine disagreements, challenge weak reasoning, and refine their conclusions. Mix then synthesizes their work into a single final answer, while preserving meaningful uncertainty or disagreement when no clear consensus exists. This is called ensemble reasoning - and with Mix, you don’t need multiple $100/mo accounts to leverage it.

Mix it up
Mix anonymizes and distributes portions of your prompts across independent AI systems, so AI companies cannot track you.
There is another idea behind the name.
Privacy systems often become stronger when identity and activity are not stored together. The principle will be familiar to people who understand cryptography and digital-asset privacy systems. Mix applies that principle to AI.
Payment and reasoning travel through separate systems; identifying information is removed when it is unnecessary, and temporary identifiers replace durable ones. Different reasoning systems receive the information they actually need, and completed reasoning sessions are not turned into a permanent Mix chat archive.

Questions
Why would I use Mix if I already use ChatGPT or Claude?
Mix is for questions that are important, sensitive, or consequential enough that you want both deeper analysis and complete privacy.
Mix sends your problem through multiple frontier AI systems, gives them independent reasoning roles, makes them challenge one another, identifies disagreements, and continues working until it can produce a stronger final answer.
Just as importantly, Mix is designed to minimize who knows what you asked. Personally identifying information is removed or substituted before outside AI models see your question whenever that information is not important to the analysis. Your billing identity and reasoning activity are kept on physically separate systems, and Mix does not create a permanent chat history linking your account to the questions you ask.
You get the power of multiple frontier AIs without manually copying answers between them, and without turning your most sensitive questions into another permanent, identity-linked AI archive.
Does Mix save my conversations?
Mix is designed not to maintain a permanent chat-history database. Temporary information must exist while a reasoning run is being processed. Once the run is complete, the conversation is not added to a permanent Mix chat archive.
Does Mix know who I am?
Your Mix account is intentionally minimal. It is primarily an email address, one-time access codes, and a credit balance. The reasoning system does not need your billing identity. Personally identifying information inside a prompt is substituted before external model processing when doing so will not compromise the analysis.
What if my identity is important to the answer?
Then Mix preserves the necessary information. Privacy should not make the analysis inaccurate.
Does Mix use my questions to train AI?
No. Mix does not use your questions to build a customer or advertising profile. Third-party AI providers process portions of Mix reasoning under their own contractual, privacy, safety, and legal requirements. Mix minimizes the identifying information they receive and does not use cookies where technically practical.
Which AI models does Mix use?
Whichever frontier models are best suited to the problem. Mix is model-independent and intelligently chooses the appropriate AI models for your queries.
Why not use a local model?
Local models are a real privacy option, and for some people they are the right one. But they come with real tradeoffs.
A model that runs on your own hardware is far smaller than a frontier model running in a datacenter, and the gap in reasoning quality is large. Mix goes the other direction: multiple frontier AIs analyze independently, challenge disagreements, reconsider weak reasoning, and synthesize the strongest answer without creating a permanent history of your private question. This is called ensemble reasoning, and it often yields better answers than a single frontier model alone.
Local models are also work. You have to choose one, download it, keep it updated, and have a machine powerful enough to run it well, and the maintenance never really ends.
Mix gives you the privacy benefit without the tradeoffs: anonymized prompts, frontier-level ensemble reasoning, and nothing to set up or maintain.
Can I choose the models?
The primary experience lets Mix choose automatically. The product is designed to remove the burden of knowing which model is strongest for which task. Advanced controls may be offered later.
What happens to my answer after I leave?
Mix is not intended to become your permanent archive. Save, copy, or download important results before ending the session.
Can I use Mix to develop software?
Yes. Mix can be used with AI-enabled development tools such as Zed and OpenCode, and with other editors and coding agents that support custom AI models.
That matters when the code itself is sensitive: proprietary algorithms, unreleased products, security work, or client codebases under NDA. Your prompts and code are anonymized before they reach external AI models, and completed sessions are not retained.
You get frontier-level ensemble reasoning on your hardest engineering problems without turning your codebase into someone else's training data or a stored chat history.
